A concert by the Choir of the
Voivodship Police Headquarters in Białystok inaugurates tonight
this year’s edition of the International Festival “Days of
Orthodox Church Music” in Hajnówka. The Choir is the laureate of
last year’s edition. The eighth Days this year feature near on
thirty choirs and vocal ensembles from Poland, Belarus, Russia,
Serbia, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria, Latvia and Ukraine. more....

Archpresbyters from the Holy Synod will hold a holy mass at 9.30
a.m. in Alexander Nevski Cathedral. Later Patriarch Maxim of
Bulgaria will deliver a thanksgiving service.The Holy Synod of
Bulgarian Orthodox Church decided January 3, 1953 to convoke
Church-Public convocation on May 8, which had the aim to restore

Greek Orthodox Church Settle Case
JACKSONVILLE | A man who claims
he was sexually assaulted by a suspended Jacksonville priest as a
teenager has settled his lawsuit with the Greek Orthodox
Archdiocese of AmericaThe church reported the settlement on its
Web site Thursday and said there was no finding of fault or
liability against it. The church said the terms of the settlement
